DEIGHTON CARNIVAL Theme – Kirklees Year of Music
This year’s 24th Anniversary Deighton Carnival is due to take place on Sat June 28th 2025 at The Deighton Centre, Huddersfield.
Planning is well underway. Stalls are now available to book.
We will keep you updated every step of the way, so do keep watching our social media.
Many new activities are planned for this year, plus we are hoping to get a well-known headline act for the stage show.
The 2025 Deighton Carnival is one of the main events for the “Kirklees Year of Music” programme itinerary.
The sports activities will still be going ahead, including the popular five a side football tournament. Inside the Sports Arena there will be the Basketball Comp, Netball tournament, Table Tennis and Pool contest. Anyone wishing to enter a team or individually please do get in touch, booking forms will be available nearer the time.
On the fields we will again have the Stage show (showcasing local talent), also looking to book a major UK headline act. Giant Marquee, info stalls, Fun fair (consisting of new and exciting rides for 2025), Giant inflatable slides, Stalls, displays plus loads more.
Added attraction for this year will be The Huddersfield sound system culture arena, celebrating 50yrs of Huddersfield Sound systems
